Always an innovator and committed to design thinking, Michael founded Duotribe in California almost twenty years ago before relocating it to New England in 2004. He has worked with clients such as Edison International, NASA/JPL, Sony (SDDS), Prime Sports TV, Trimark Pictures Hollywood, Thayer School at Dartmouth College, The New York Times, Disney, and the San Diego Padres.
For over ten years, Michael has also directed the design and digital strategy for Care New England Health System in Rhode Island. He has been instrumental in growing the creative to encompass brand identity, digital marketing, design, video production, and advertising while always striving to bring innovation into the corporate healthcare environment. In 2014, Michael concepted and created a successful and innovative event “Collaboration = Innovation: A Discussion on Transforming the Future of Health Care through Design” that brought together leaders at Care New England, Rhode Island School of Design, and Brown University Medical School. He has also been a guest critic at Brown University Warren Alpert Medical School where he reviewed and evaluated medical student innovation projects.
In his corporate career, Michael has served as Creative Director for one of the first internet marketing companies in California and as Art Director for Troxel Cycling and Fitness, where he pioneered state-of-the-art innovations for helmet assembly and graphics application.
His educational background includes a BFA in Graphic Design from Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) with studies at Brown University and University of Canterbury.
