Tuatapere to Kingston. A long (122km) but satisfying day. Cutting back inland -- eastward and then north toward Queenstown. Kingston sits at the very bottom of Lake Wakatipu. Stopped for the night in the only motor camp in Kingston. So far, looks as if this will be our favorite form of accommodation (the motor camp). Not sure why this invention has not caught on in the US. We can pitch our tent but still get a hot shower and cook a real meal.
