Haast to Fox Glacier. Rolling terrain. Road now follows the west coast northward. Grooved on the rain forest feeling of the west coast. Long sections of road passed through jungle-like terrain and then would dump you out on sections of beach covered coastline -- surprisingly warm and hospitable for being so close to Antartica. Have seen quite a few surfboards travelling around, so there must be some pretty good waves out there.
